Audiobookshelf MCP

Audiobookshelf MCP runs locally from a container image in an OCI registry such as Docker Hub or GitHub Container Registry: ghcr.io/jeeftor/abs-mcp:0.6.0. It speaks MCP over stdio, so the client starts it as a program and talks to it through standard input and output. It needs Docker or another OCI container runtime; started with docker run — the usual command is docker run -i --rm -e ABS_BASE_URL -e ABS_API_KEY -e ABS_READ_ONLY -e ABS_TIMEOUT -e ABS_FIXTURE_DIR -e ABS_EXTRA_HEADERS_FILE -e ABS_TLS_CA_CERT_FILE -e ABS_TLS_INSECURE_SKIP_VERIFY -e ABS_TRANSPORT -e ABS_HTTP_ADDR -e ABS_HTTP_PATH -e ABS_HTTP_BEARER_TOKEN ghcr.io/jeeftor/abs-mcp:0.6.0. It reads these environment variables: ABS_BASE_URL (required), ABS_API_KEY (required, secret), ABS_READ_ONLY, ABS_TIMEOUT, ABS_FIXTURE_DIR, ABS_EXTRA_HEADERS_FILE, ABS_TLS_CA_CERT_FILE, ABS_TLS_INSECURE_SKIP_VERIFY, ABS_TRANSPORT, ABS_HTTP_ADDR, ABS_HTTP_PATH and ABS_HTTP_BEARER_TOKEN (secret); set them in the client's configuration for this server.
