Tapo MCP

Tapo MCP runs locally from a container image in an OCI registry such as Docker Hub or GitHub Container Registry: ghcr.io/mihai-dinculescu/tapo-mcp:0.5.2. The package starts a local server that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP; the client then connects to it by URL. It reads these environment variables: TAPO_MCP_USERNAME (required, secret), TAPO_MCP_PASSWORD (required, secret), TAPO_MCP_DISCOVERY_TARGET (required), TAPO_MCP_API_KEY (secret), TAPO_MCP_DISCOVERY_TIMEOUT and OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_ENDPOINT; set them in the client's configuration for this server.
