How to connect Datto RMM MCP
Datto RMM MCP runs locally from an MCP Bundle: a single downloadable archive holding a local server and a manifest that describes it: https://github.com/Servosity/msp-skills/releases/download/datto-rmm-v0.1.6/datto-rmm-mcp.mcpb version 0.1.6. It speaks MCP over stdio, so the client starts it as a program and talks to it through standard input and output. It needs a client that installs MCP Bundles; the file is opened in, or added to, that client. It reads these environment variables: DATTO_RMM_API_KEY (required, secret), DATTO_RMM_API_SECRET_KEY (required, secret), DATTO_RMM_BASE_URL, DATTO_RMM_PLATFORM, DATTO_RMM_TOKEN (required, secret) and DATTO_RMM_NO_CONFIG_WRITE; set them in the client's configuration for this server.
