How to connect Minirag MCP
Minirag MCP runs locally from a Python package published to PyPI: minirag-mcp version 0.6.1. It speaks MCP over stdio, so the client starts it as a program and talks to it through standard input and output. It needs Python; clients usually start it with uvx (from uv) or after pip install — the usual command is uvx minirag-mcp. It reads these environment variables: BASE_DIR, BASE_DIRS, DB_PATH, CACHE_DIR, MODEL_NAME, MAX_FILE_SIZE, CHUNK_TOKEN_BUDGET, RAG_HYBRID_WEIGHT, RAG_GROUPING, RAG_MAX_DISTANCE, RAG_MAX_FILES, RAG_INSTRUCTIONS_APPEND and ALLOW_PRIVATE_URLS; set them in the client's configuration for this server.
