How to connect Openemis
Openemis runs locally from a Node.js package published to the npm registry: openemis-mcp version 1.1.0. It speaks MCP over stdio, so the client starts it as a program and talks to it through standard input and output. It needs Node.js; clients usually start it with npx — the usual command is npx -y openemis-mcp@1.1.0. It reads these environment variables: OPENEMIS_BASE_URL (required), OPENEMIS_USERNAME (required), OPENEMIS_PASSWORD (required, secret), OPENEMIS_API_KEY (required, secret), OPENEMIS_TIMEOUT_MS, OPENEMIS_LOG_VERBOSE and OPENEMIS_LOG_FILE; set them in the client's configuration for this server.
