How to connect Noetive
Noetive runs locally from a Node.js package published to the npm registry: @noetive/mcp-server version 0.2.2. It speaks MCP over stdio, so the client starts it as a program and talks to it through standard input and output. It needs Node.js; clients usually start it with npx — the usual command is npx -y @noetive/mcp-server@0.2.2. It reads these environment variables: NOETIVE_KEY_SECRET (required, secret), NOETIVE_NAMESPACE, NOETIVE_MODEL, NOETIVE_DIMENSIONS, NOETIVE_DISABLE_GLOBAL_NS, NOETIVE_EMBEDDINGS_URL and NOETIVE_EMBEDDINGS_KEY_SECRET (secret); set them in the client's configuration for this server.
Noetive runs locally from a container image in an OCI registry such as Docker Hub or GitHub Container Registry: ghcr.io/noetive/noetive-mcp:0.2.2. It speaks MCP over stdio, so the client starts it as a program and talks to it through standard input and output. It needs Docker or another OCI container runtime; started with docker run — the usual command is docker run -i --rm -e NOETIVE_KEY_SECRET -e NOETIVE_NAMESPACE -e NOETIVE_MODEL -e NOETIVE_DIMENSIONS -e NOETIVE_DISABLE_GLOBAL_NS -e NOETIVE_EMBEDDINGS_URL -e NOETIVE_EMBEDDINGS_KEY_SECRET ghcr.io/noetive/noetive-mcp:0.2.2. It reads these environment variables: NOETIVE_KEY_SECRET (required, secret), NOETIVE_NAMESPACE, NOETIVE_MODEL, NOETIVE_DIMENSIONS, NOETIVE_DISABLE_GLOBAL_NS, NOETIVE_EMBEDDINGS_URL and NOETIVE_EMBEDDINGS_KEY_SECRET (secret); set them in the client's configuration for this server.
