What Intercom's access means for an assistant
MCP server. A Model Context Protocol server: a standard interface that AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and others can connect to, to call the service's tools directly. Intercom states it on its own pages; the file itself was not checked.
Claude connector. A connector in Claude: the assistant can read from or act in the service once you connect it. Intercom's answered HTTP 200 when checked.
llms.txt. A plain-text guide at /llms.txt that tells AI systems what the site is and where its key pages are. Intercom's answered HTTP 200 when checked.
To use Intercom from an assistant, connect it where the assistant offers connections (an MCP server, an app or a connector), or point an agent at the published file or API above. What the service returns, and on what terms, is set by Intercom.
