Zo verbind je Datto RMM MCP
Datto RMM MCP draait lokaal vanuit een MCP Bundle: één downloadbaar archief met een lokale server en een manifest dat die beschrijft: https://github.com/Servosity/msp-skills/releases/download/datto-rmm-v0.1.6/datto-rmm-mcp.mcpb, versie 0.1.6. Hij spreekt MCP via stdio, dus de client start hem als programma en communiceert ermee via standaardinvoer en -uitvoer. Hij vereist een client die MCP Bundles installeert; het bestand wordt in die client geopend of eraan toegevoegd. Hij leest deze omgevingsvariabelen: DATTO_RMM_API_KEY (verplicht, geheim), DATTO_RMM_API_SECRET_KEY (verplicht, geheim), DATTO_RMM_BASE_URL, DATTO_RMM_PLATFORM, DATTO_RMM_TOKEN (verplicht, geheim) en DATTO_RMM_NO_CONFIG_WRITE; stel ze in de configuratie van de client voor deze server in.
