How to connect S3
S3 runs locally from a Node.js package published to the npm registry: s3-aws-mcp-server version 0.0.5. It speaks MCP over stdio, so the client starts it as a program and talks to it through standard input and output. It needs Node.js; clients usually start it with npx — the usual command is npx -y s3-aws-mcp-server@0.0.5. It reads these environment variables: AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID (required, secret), AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY (required, secret), AWS_REGION, AWS_ENDPOINT_URL, S3_FORCE_PATH_STYLE, S3_BUCKET, S3_ENABLED_TOOLGROUPS, S3_ENABLED_TOOLS, S3_DISABLED_TOOLS and SKIP_HEALTH_CHECKS; set them in the client's configuration for this server.
