How to connect Xero MCP
Xero MCP runs locally from an MCP Bundle: a single downloadable archive holding a local server and a manifest that describes it: https://github.com/Servosity/msp-skills/releases/download/xero-v0.1.5/xero-mcp.mcpb version 0.1.5. It speaks MCP over stdio, so the client starts it as a program and talks to it through standard input and output. It needs a client that installs MCP Bundles; the file is opened in, or added to, that client. It reads these environment variables: XERO_ACCESS_TOKEN (required, secret), XERO_AUTHORIZATION_URL, XERO_BASE_URL, XERO_CLIENT_ID (secret), XERO_CLIENT_SECRET (secret), XERO_OAUTH2 (secret), XERO_TENANT_ID (required), XERO_TOKEN_URL and XERO_NO_CONFIG_WRITE; set them in the client's configuration for this server.
